No Love is Greater than You

Today, I sit here and I wonder how great you are. No words can compare of how great you are. In life we try to find greater love to another human being but we will always fail. We fail to see the truth as it is but deny at times until we fall on our face. We will disappoint of who we are inside. We are imperfect inside but only one person in the world is perfect which you, Lord. We make common mistakes of what we say or do to others but you will never leave us forsake us.

In your book which it says "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Do we realize that you still love us? At times we don't but as each day we must realize of how great you are because you are Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008

On the 23rd Clifford & I went shopping to purchased presents for my family. The week before we had purchased presents for Clifford’s family. We had planned out what we were going to purchase for each family member and how much Clifford was going to spend for each of the family member. I enjoyed do this task because I love to shop and help Clifford out. Clifford is not a huge shopper and hates to be stores for any reason. We finished the task with in 3 hours with no issues. This is only once a year we do this.

Christmas eve I was feeling not the greatest before going to Clifford’s annual Christmas luncheon party. I was there to help because few of the ladies were not there to set up the party. It took me almost 10 minutes to set up the party it was easy task. At the end of the party, I helped out on cleaning up the place to make sure the place ready for the next business day. (Of course I had lots of help from all the guys at Clifford’s job).

Party at the Swan’s house was a blast. I saw Trinity & Jackson Clifford’s nice and nephew) opened up their presents. It was cool to see the kids enjoying themselves with their presents. Clifford was sleeping on the sofa at one point but it was a relaxed time we had with his family.

I have to say it was blast on eating more food and fellowship all the family and friends. I felt like I was gaining another pound for eating all the yummy food such as tamales, cake, and nachos. At the end of the night my family opened the presents. It is tradition for us to open our presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day. I enjoyed watching my 2 nieces opening their presents. Lily received lots of Hanna Montana presents from all of us. Every time she received Hanna Montana gift which she would sing an expert song from Hanna Montana song which I can still hear her words, “Then you rock out the show, you get the best of both worlds.” On Christmas day, I cooked my yummy pancakes for the family and watched TV all day. We ended the night by spend it with Kelly’s family and had Asian food instead of turkey. Yummy!!!

I can’t believe Christmas is over and I can’t wait to share my New Year’s plans with all of you.

Christmas Time in the City

I love the smell of my mom cooking in the kitchen for her co-workers for their annual Christmas party at General Motors tomorrow. This is the time to cook and be merry with everyone. There were so many Christmas parties I went this year that I could even count on my fingers. This year I made a promise to myself that I would spend time with my friends & family at their Christmas parties instead of going shopping at the malls. I have to say it was worth the time that I spend with my friends & family.

The last Christmas party I went this past Friday was very interesting. One lady whom I will not reveal her name but I will call her Ms S. I met Ms. S made some small talk about where her daughters went to college and what church I had attended. Well, later on that night, Ms. S started to open up with me about her single life and then we pray for one of her daughters. Before we ended the prayer I heard one of the gals in the room saying it smelled like burned rubber outside of my friend’ house. We thought it was electric burn so we called the fire department to check out the smell. The firemen checked it but major lead on why it smelled like burned rubber. It was interesting Christmas party and I will never forget the party and I got the chance to hang out with everyone.

Well, 2 more days until Christmas and things are now slowing down for me and I’m taking it easy. I look at my mom nativity set next to the dining table. We forget there is a reason of this season to celebrate Christ’s birth. We all know the story of Joseph & Mary in the Bible. Read the following on the story:

The Story of Baby Jesus(Children's Version)
A long time ago, in the town of Nazareth, lived a young woman named Mary. Mary did her chores, was kind to others, and loved God very much. She was engaged to be married to Joseph, who was a carpenter.

One day, while Mary was at home cleaning her room, an angel suddenly appeared. Before Mary could say anything the angel told Mary that she was favored by God, and that God was with her.
Mary was surprised. She was trying not to be afraid, but she had never seen an angel before. After all, Mary was just a regular lady like you or I. Why was this angel visiting her? What did the angel want?

The angel quickly tried to reassure Mary, "Do not be afraid!" The angel said. "God has found favor with you. You will have a baby boy, and are to give him the name Jesus."
Mary was confused, she was not yet married to Joseph, so how could she have a baby? The angel thought that this might concern Mary so he said, "The Holy Spirit will perform a miracle, and because of this your baby will be called the Son of God."

To Mary's surprise the angel had more exciting news; "Even your cousin Elizabeth is going to have a son in her old age. Many thought that she couldn't have children, but she is already pregnant. Nothing is impossible with God."

Mary couldn't believe what she was hearing, she didn't know what to say. She realized that she was trembling, and knelt down. When she was finally able to speak she said, "I am the Lord's servant, and I hope everything you have said will come true."
The angel then disappeared, and Mary was left alone.

Soon after, Joseph found out that Mary was going to have a baby. Joseph was confused and upset by this. But an angel came to him in a dream and said, "Joseph do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. The child Mary is going to have is God's son, and you are to give him the name Jesus."

When Joseph woke up he remembered what the angel had said. He knew that everything was okay, and he wasn't upset anymore.
In those days the government decided that they should count everyone that lived in that area of the world. So Joseph had to take Mary to his town, Bethlehem to register.
It took Mary and Joseph a long time to get to Bethlehem. They didn't have cars back then, so it probably took them a lot longer to get there. This was very tiring for Mary because she was soon going to have a baby.

When they reached the town, all the hotels were full and there was nowhere that they could stay. Finally, someone felt bad for them, and offered them a place to stay.
The Bible doesn't say for sure where they stayed but most people think that they stayed in a small barn where animals were kept. In any case, doesn't it seem strange that Jesus, the King of the Jews wasn't born in a fancy palace or even a hospital?

Mary and Joseph were thankful that they at least had a place to lay down. It was warm, and there was plenty of straw to lay on.

That night an exciting, wonderful thing happened. Mary and Joseph had a baby! But it wasn't just any baby, it was Baby Jesus! The creator of the whole world, the King of Kings, the one who would save the world. The little baby boy fell asleep in Mary's arms and she wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger on some clean straw.

This story is small version of the story we hear when we were all growing up but you ever thought what Mary was thinking when she had Jesus? What was her words first words when she was first holding Jesus (son of G-d)? What were Joseph’s first words? These are the questions that come through my mind when reading the birth of Christ. This Christmas Holiday share the story with your family again to know the meaning of Christmas. We forget it is not about Santa Claus or presents but the Birth of Jesus Christ.

What I was thankful this Thanksgiving......

Hey'all,This Thanksgiving I will never forget..... First, of all I am thankful for my friends and family. Each one of you have Blessed me in my life in every area. Your presence, talent, your laughter, your joy, your cooking, your hugs, your gifts. I am thankful to have you in my life. I don't think life would be the same without you. This Thanksgiving I had my family & friends helped with my painful back. I was feeling terrible with my back. Apparently, I had slept on the couch on Thursday night and i had woke up with my back feeling in pain as if I had been in car accident. It was terrible when I went shopping on Black Friday with my back in pain. I was not in the mood to shop but I was determine to get a few things no matter what because I love a good bargain. My dad, boyfriend and my aunt Nina helped take care of me and my back for 2 days. I am so greatful for them. If you have a friend and family member you haven't hugged or forgive please do because they will always be there when you are in pain.

Living by Faith

Living by Faith

Hello, Everyone this is my first blog but I wrote for the blog online. The following entry you about to read which I wrote on 04.04.2007 which is relating of what is happening in our soceity today. I know the Lord is a big G-d. The Lord has shown be that he can provide food, money, a job, and lots of wonderful friends & family. Plus, he can heal from cancer. My dad went through cancer last year and I wrote this blog when I was in a time when I was hurting inside. Please read it.


Today, I sitting here in my office at work tonight and being thankful on what the Lord provided in my life. Not just material things. I’m thankful I have awesome friends and family around me. I’m thankful I can write this journal entry and get paid at the same time. I’m thankful I am disease –free. I’m thankful I can walk and breathe without any aid. I’m thankful I can run and shout without any problems. Then, I look around at others like my father and others who can’t do all things of what I can do in my everyday life. Helpless, I may be for them but I truly believe the Lord will heal each individual including my father.
Oswald Chambers said it well in his daily devotion book call “My Utmost for His Highest” concerning with faith: Living a life of faith means never knowing where you are being led. But it does mean loving and knowing the One who is leading. It is literally a life of faith, not of understanding and reason— a life of knowing Him who calls us to go. Faith is rooted in the knowledge of a Person, and one of the biggest traps we fall into is the belief that if we have faith, God will surely lead us to success in the world.
The final stage in the life of faith is the attainment of character, and we encounter many changes in the process. We feel the presence of God around us when we pray, yet we are only momentarily changed. We tend to keep going back to our everyday ways and the glory vanishes. A life of faith is not a life of one glorious mountaintop experience after another, like soaring on eagles’ wings, but is a life of day— in and day— out consistency; a life of walking without fainting (see Isaiah 40:31 ). It is not even a question of the holiness of sanctification, but of something which comes much farther down the road. It is a faith that has been tried and proved and has withstood the test. Abraham is not a type or an example of the holiness of sanctification, but a type of the life of faith-a faith, tested and true, built on the true God. "Abraham believed God. . ." (Romans 4:3 ).
